Room 402..... Beware!.....

•Think about your experiences moving into a place such as your dorm rooms for the first time.

When I move into this room. I felt the whole new experiencing living at college. I’d get chance to meet new roommate. I grew up living in dorm at Missouri school for the deaf. So, living in dorm wasn’t a big deal.

•Consider the fact that somebody else lived there.

When I moved into this room, I thought it was very nice (compare to Ballard West). When I lived here for a couples weeks. I found couples damages that have been repaired, and some of them aren’t. Blinders on middle window were still damaged when I moved in. I asked RA to have it replaced. “It wasn’t necessary” they said. Consider the fact that somebody was living here is pretty obviously. Its college dorm and I would bet that thousands of people have lived in this room before me.

•What did you do to make the room "belong" to you?

Pretty obviously that you seen my video, I had some pictures up by windows and wall. Furniture was set up by me and my roommate. It doesn’t make me feel like I am at home, but at least it’s a room where we could live in. We set this furniture up this way because we wanted have some spaces for us to sit and watch our television.

•Is it a place where you make it a place for others?

Others would probably like the way it set, but unfortunately we would have to move them back to normal before we move out at the end of this semester. I would share idea of this set up to other people.

Until then,

Josage University Campus Plan

Hello again!

I did ideal campus project with Samantha G, and Georginia F. We create a university campus called Josage University. The campus looks huge and comfortable. We discuss and decide what the building and landscape is like based on our experiences and articles. We also decided that the building should show all similar color and a structure depends on sizes. Outside building’s color is much the same as others.

Samantha will talk about the dorm structures and what they will looks like… What dorm will have to offer. You all can check her blog out based on dorms. Her blog site is (http://samanthagsr150.blogspot.com/)

Georginia will talk about campus's landscape, campus designs. You all can check her blog out based on campus designs as well… Her blog site is (http://irishmamacita.blogspot.com/)

I’ll talk about administration building where they will be at middle of campus. We agreed that administration building is important that they need to be build right middle of campus because Financial Aid office, Admission office, President Office, Academy Advisor Office, Cashier Office, and all other important things are in one building. There will be 3 floors on this building plan. It also has stairs and elevator. There also will be a rail for handicapped people with wheel chair.

There will be a park lot by the building where we would come in and out with ease of accessibility. We believe that all of those office should be in one building because it is campus friendly if you were interested into going Josage university, it would be a lot easier for you to come in administration office and do all the important stuff in one place. Gallaudet University’s campus plans are little a bit poor. administration office in one building, and Financial Aid Office, Academy Advisor Office, Cashier Office in other. We would have to walk one place to other.

We create this campus map with roomy and comfortable for people that want to come and enjoy our university. This campus map shows a lot of parking lots and lots of varieties of better accessibility not for deaf, and handicapped, but for everyone! Until then!
